This little ring sculpture was inspired by the layering of petals in daisies and sunflowers.  It is made of individual hand moulded sections of paper clay mounted on a thrown porcelain base.  The petals are edged in a glossy glaze giving a shiny finish.
 
This sculpture is approximately 10cm in diameter and 2cm deep.
