This delicate sculpture was inspired by the blooms on my camelia.  It is made of lots of individually formed petals attached to a thrown porcelain base.  The petals are edged in copper oxide and only the tips are glazed and shiny. 
 
This sculpture is approximately 15cm in diameter and 3.5cm deep.
