This sculpture was inspired by my Aeonium Tabulaeforme succulent - commonly know as Saucer Plant due to it's flat surface.  It is made of tiny individually formed segments of paper clay which are attached to a thrown base.  The green tinged edges are copper oxide which is added before the final firing.
 
Dimensions - this sculpture is 15cm in diameter and approximately 2.5cm thick. 
 
The sculpture has a hole in the rear so it can be simply hung on a screw or nail to attach it to the wall.
